Director Of Sales And Business Development

Excellent opportunity for a Director of Sales with proven track record selling medical devices and in-depth understanding of medical device marketing and experience in successful product introduction and closing complex clinical/technical sales.  

As our Director of Sales, you will: 

• Set the vision and overall sales strategy from launch to scale, including defining long-term goals and strategies.

• Differentiate Harmonus product offerings by conveying compelling value propositions and developing and presenting solutions proposals and quotations.

• Develop relationships with departmental & technical decision makers to gain access to C-Suite decision makers. 

• Drive Harmonus KOL (Key Opinion Leader) success, developing high level relationships with key opinion leaders, with the purpose of making these engagements successful as positive references in the market.

• Identify, suggest and attend key stakeholder meetings focused in our target markets and audiences.

• Plan and execute peer to peer education events.

• Meet and exceed agreed revenue goals. 

• Articulate new products consistent with company focus and strategy, based on market demands, and work with other functional groups to develop them.

• Provide Marketing input to Design Control process for labeling, pricing, product mix, performance specifications and positioning.

Qualifying experience should include: 

• Relevant industry experience in medical devices.

• Achievement of significant market penetration for new product launches and track record of substantial professional sales accomplishments

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong KOL relationships.

• Development and execution of a strategic marketing campaign for a clinical product.

• Management of product launch activities.

• Experience developing and leveraging clinical publications and post-market studies as strategies to support product awareness.

• Development of relationships with key business partners.

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, business or engineering. 

• Minimum 8-10 years in medical device marketing of clinical products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills, and strong project management, leadership, and team building skills.

Clinical Specialist

We have an excellent opportunity for a CLINICAL SPECIALIST with a proven track record providing clinical insight and educational support/training on the technical applications of company products to physicians, nurses and other medical personnel in an MRI environment. The Clinical Specialist will promote the Harmonus Device to interventional radiologists through attending clinical procedures, training current and potential customers, generating new sales leads, and supporting the sales and marketing teams.  

As Clinical Specialist, you will

Conduct training at hospitals and imaging centers, adhering to established Harmonus training processes and guidelines and established customer site policies. Provide product technical support to customers in an Interventional MRI suite environment.

Develop customer relations and sales leads.

Identify, develop and maintain new Key Opinion Leaders.

Solicit and support development of physician authored and clinical papers and studies, and opinion leader presentations.

Attend and work at industry trade show exhibits and meetings as determined by management.

Participate in troubleshooting support programs. Resolve equipment and applications issues and immediately escalate any customer issues as required. Manage customer situations for best outcome. 

Develop and maintain an in-depth profile of each account to include customer preferences, competitive products and field intelligence, market activity, important contact/decision makers, customer feedback, and attendees in-serviced.

Qualifying experience should include:

Competent in technical training of physicians and radiology staff.

Comfortable in hospital MRI environment, experience working directly with physicians, techs, and nurses. 

Direct experience in interventional radiology with existing physician relationships.

Strong verbal communication skills and presentation skills to provide training to customer base.

Technical capability to understand all products and a clinical understanding of the application of these products in numerous clinical settings.

Flexibility in scheduling.

Strong interpersonal skills while discussing products and procedures with customers.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google applications


1-3 years medical experience working in an interventional MRI setting.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Documented success in covering cases and teaching/training others. Medical device sales experience is a plus

Strong clinical skills are a plus.

Ability to deliver complex and technical subject matter to clinicians in a hospital or clinical setting.

Lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
